Jen’s Crockpot Freezer Meal Tutorial- 30 meals for under $300

As a busy florist with a husband and toddler, the last thing I want to do when I get home from work is cook dinner. Because I want to play with my baby! Before I had Cooper was the first time I began freezer crockpot meals. I figure out my recipes, make a giant grocery list, and prep all the meals at once. Then I am able to pull out a bag the night before a pop it in the crockpot in the morning before work. Then when I get home from work dinner is served!  The biggest trick I’ve learned is that it is important to buy a crockpot that has a timer and switches to warm after the cooking time. You don’t want your food over cooked when you work late.

I posted on facebook the other day that I made 30 crockpot meals for under $300 and it was so cool how many people wanted more info. So I know this is my flower shop website, but this was the best way I knew to share all of this info at once with everyone. Enjoy!

My first time doing this I started out by finding a link like this. Six-Healthy-Freezer-Crockpot-Meals-in-50-Minutes  If you don’t want to do tons of meals, this would be a great way to go. Plus it has the grocery list ready for you. If you decide to use my list below, you will also include these recipes, but the grocery items are already included in my giant grocery list below.

Here is the Freezer Meals Grocery List for 30 meals because I made two of each. If I missed anything or added something up wrong, I apologize in advance! I was able to buy all of this for under $300 and just went to Kroger. I’m sure you would be able to get better deals if you went to Aldi, or Costco, etc.  You could also take the recipes and just make one of each for 15 meals.

Here is the list of all the recipes.

Freezer Meals– plus you need to print the ones above from 6 Healthy Freezer Crockpot Meals. But remember, the grocery list is already included in my grocery list.

The best way I have found is to do all the shopping when you have time to just leave everything out and start placing in bags. So here is the mess!

And then you bag up each individual bag and hope that your husband comes home in time for clean up. I totally lucked out time!
